A belated post about some crafting I did for Christmas gifts. These coasters are a good way to use up scraps of squirreled away fabric. The embroidery designs are from this book. I really like the simplistic and clean aesthetic. I'll post some pictures another day.
These two are on a vaguely dandelion theme.
The linen is leftover from shortening some curtains from Ikea. Waste not want not! The patterned fabric is from John Lewis.
These two have a more festive flavour. The 'drink' motif was created with a hand-carved stamp.
Does anyone have any tips for a good compact, reasonably priced digital camera? My Canon Ixus 40 isn't coping well with close-up shots.
