I've never lived anywhere with enough room to allow me not to have to pack away my sewing machine after each use. Until now ... The spare room is taken up with a sofa bed and my other half's significant vinyl collection and computers. I have a corner of our bedroom and it still feels like a luxury. As you can see it's a tight squeeze but I'm not complaining, well at least not that often!
The bunting marathon is still underway. I'm boring myself even talking about it. If you want to know what an insurmountable task looks like then visualise about 500 fabric triangles. And D day is 2 weeks tomorrow! It still feels surreal, like I've managed to convince myself that I won't be freaked out by approximately 100 people staring at me. Hmmm.
Time for another list, my current top 5 biscuits. Yes, I really do think about these things.
dark chocolate Leibniz, Tunnocks tea cakes, Tunnocks caramel wafers, dark chocolate gingers and shortbread.
Hopefully in my next post I'll be able to show you a picture of completed bunting rather than moaning about making it.

Hi
Just found your blog and thought I'd say hello & good luck, nothing like a deadline to spur you on! I sewed some bunting for my daughters 1st birthday back in March and was only finishing it a little before midnight the night before! You also made me laugh, reminded me of my best pal and I sewing together final touches on my order of service, 3 days before the wedding!

Lisa, I love your blog and you've inspired me to learn to crochet - I'll be home bothering my mum about it this weekend. Keep on bunting you'll get there in the end.
