I still haven't found the time to create anything new as I've been writing long overdue wedding thank you cards and also embarking upon a new venture selling haberdashery goodies on ebay. I'm starting off small and testing the water by selling some Clover crochet hooks. If that's successful my plan is to expand into loads of other things such as fabric and notions. Exciting (hopefully)! I'm like a kid in a sweet shopping looking on amazing sites like purl soho and superbuzzy but I've found it pretty damn hard to find any UK rivals. Well we all have to start somewhere ;-)
I'm dipping into the archives to provide something to look at in this post. As you've probably gathered I share my house with two black and white cats (as well as a husband).
Because of them I was inspired by a toy in a picture in this Japanese stamping book and couldn't resist trying to make it for a friend's baby. He's called Meow Cat
and conveniently has his name stamped onto his legs (he was in a stamping book after all).
He brings a smile to my face.
