It was P's birthday the other week and I racked an raked my brain for gift ideas and eventually landed upon this
It's a bell tent and it's gorgeous and reminds me of proper, old fashioned camping. There is lots of information in the brilliant book and website Happy Campers which is full of atmosphere and inspiration.
I used to go camping every year when I was young and I have very fond memories of canvas tents, little stoves, sleeping bags ...

The bell tent has a serene atmosphere. Here is a view of the inside.
Unfortunately it's first outing was mainly of the wet variety but I'm looking forward to many more.
I apologise for the lack of crafting on this CRAFTING blog. I keep anticipating being sued for misrepresentation. I NEED to get back on track.
