I succombed to the lure of Yesasia recently and one of my purchases was this book on corsage making. Wise Craft blogged about it here.

The book contains some really beautiful fabric flowers and I'd love to make all of them. Of course I can't read it but the diagrams are pretty good so with some trial and error I'll hopefully be able to figure them out. I made one yesterday with some scraps of felt left over from this lady.

felt corsage
It's not as autumnal as I'd like considering the bite in the air and the change of season but I don't have any scraps with richer tones. It's really nice felt to work with and is 100% wool. It's from Myriad Toys. Synthetic felt really sets my teeth on edge, one of those chalk squeaking on a blackboard things.
I'm such a flipperty gibbett when it comes to my crafting activities. I frequently think it would be much more sensible to restrict my interest to one thing, or at least one category. I just can't do it though. There are too many crafting avenues out there waiting to be explored.
Here's to the kaleidescope approach!
